The literature included are books such as Know What You Believe, The Chronicles of Narnia and Frankenstein. Students will be mainly graded on essays throughout the course. Each week’s homework consists of reading books, taking notes and joining in class discussion. Parent participation in reading books with their students and sitting in class is welcome. When finished, your student will be prepared to enter the high school course of Cornerstone curriculum which covers all credits needed for high school, besides math, science and foreign language.
To note, 8th grade does not include art and music history. But 9th-12th grades do include art and music history. See credits for 8th grade below.

Expectations: 1 ½-2 hours of study per day (4 days a week). 1 ½ hours in class (1 day a week).
Prerequisites: Good reading comprehension skills, experience in writing essays and an interest in learning worldview.
Grade Level Recommended: 8th grade.

Time: Every Thursday from 8:00 am-9:30 am.
Size: Minimum of 2 students. Maximum of 12 students.
Duration: 36 Weeks—mid-August through end of May
Price: Early Application (Feb-May) $600. Application (Jun-Jul) $650.
Sibling Discount: First sibling $600 or $650, every sibling after is $550 (early application) or $600 (after early application).
